11111I began my career in the New York /New Jersey area, working as an in-house attorney for large corporations. I served as Counsel for Maxwell House Coffee Division, General Foods Corp. In this role, I advised business managers, reviewed and negotiated lots of contracts and challenged competitors' advertising. Some of the more exciting deals I worked on were the sponsorship of the Winter Olympics and the purchase of advertising time on the Cosby show in reruns.

11111After Maxwell House, I worked in a business law firm for a few years in their Tax Department. This involved servicing the legal needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

11111I moved on to become Vice President of Smith Barney, a subsidiary of Citigroup. I worked as an attorney in the Human Resources Department, drafting benefits plans, advising managers and defending discrimination claims.

11111I had a rewarding career "up North", but Florida called. After a visit to my parents in Port Charlotte, my husband and I decided to move to paradise.

11111My legal career in Florida has been in private practice in the areas of estate planning and bankruptcy. I help people file for chapter 7 or chapter 13 bankruptcy. This allows them to start over again free from overwhelming debt.

11111On the estate planning side, I help people develop an estate plan appropriate for their situation. Then I draft the relevant documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills and health care surrogate documents. Finally, in the event of death, I assist in the probate of an estate.
